Its not the wheel nuts i can tell you that much! Im hoping its the just a bearing because the axel is not the easiest part to find without it costing a fortune! Unfortiantly he had his old merc hanging on the lift atm and is waiting for parts for it so we only jacked it up, left wheel seems fine but the right wheel had some play in it... we took it for a Quick test drive and swicthed seats and the sound comes from the right side for sure. I cant really remember if it had any play from side to side but it deffently had in and out, notecible but not much....

In Danish the axels is called “stikaksler” but im pretty sure its translated to solid axels.

If its a failed bearing wouldt it make the sound all the time or?

That was Nice of you and yeah at the tippy top of Denmark in a city called Skagen

As my knowledge of Danish only extends to 3 wrods (3 words in the English translation, maybe less in Danish) i tried Google Translate for "stikaksler".

First it detected the Greek language in which it means "stickers". I prodded it to tell it the original language was Danish and it came up with "skewers".

Knowing some Scandinavian languages have certain words that are derived from German, i'd make a guess it is a Danish version of "stuck-axel" which may have been the original form, piece-axle as in one piece.
Whether i'm right, wrong or somewhere near but still far enough away to be incorrect, i really don't know.

Whichever way it is, it sounds as if the wheel bearing has gone allowing the halfshaft to move in and out. Did it sounds anything like this?

Scarily worn wheel bearings! The diff was making as much noise as both put together, maybe more!

Good does not do well with compound words, but yes you are about right with the translation.

I would say it is most likely the rear wheel bearing considering there is some play there

I kinda does and kinda dont, not anyway near as loud and it doesnt really make a sound when we were turning the wheel by hand when we jacked it up, only under stress from the engine, but maybe the bearing is not bad enough to do that yet? But a bad bearing wouldt make the car “jump” like i Said earlyer when i was engaging or? Jump is the wrong word cause it was not that extreme but you get my point

From his description it's with only just enough throttle to maintain his speed rather than under power or lift-off/braking.
