Thumbs up Change injectors on s40 1.6 D2

Hi there. I was wondering how hard it is to change injectors in a Volvo s40 2013 1.6?

2012-2016 MK3 Volvo V40 ENGINE 1.6 Diesel D4162T

I'm thinking one of my injectors is bad, though I'm waiting on a proper code reader. How hard to remove? Anybody know?

Do the new injectors need coded? Seems like they don't need to after reading some threads on here.

Anybody done this? Could you explain the process please?

Kind regards, Charles

i replace all four as a set.
did not code them in.
The hardest part is loosening the feed pipes from the rail which is down the back of the engine.
a relatiely straightforward job

Thanks for the info. Do you need to bleed the fuel system after the change?
