Default Steering Wheel Buttons

Have an issue since the weekend, the steering wheel buttons on the right hand side are not working - the select button in the centre and the right arrow no longer do anything. Anybody see anything like this before?

I had this a few times when my car was new, it always worked ok again after stopping and starting engine, it has not done it for over two years now, if I recall changing the media source in Sensus from FM to Dab or USB and back reset buttons on wheel as well. It was always working okay everytime I took it to dealer for service or other work and does not do it now.

On mine the button which brings up the trip meter doesn't work. We'll I thought it had stopped working. Then I realised that once the engine has started, it takes a few minutes for the system to boot up internally, and then it works ok. Sometimes it can be as long as 5 mins wait.

Hi - I'm familiar with that one - the centre display between the dials is showing you the seatbelts etc. You can cancel that display with the select button and then you can get your menu?

Anyway for me I can't do that either since my select button won't work. So I have to wait for the seatbelt display to disappear on its own before I get the menu, which I can't navigate anyway since the right arrow doesn't work either

No joy there, nothing I can do resets it. I'll get in touch with the dealer. I was thinking along the same lines re sources or any function that reassigns what those buttons do based on context might help, i.e. HUD adjustments etc, but I found since the select button doesn't work I can't cancel out of that either so then I'm stuck looking at the HUD calibration screen or brightness control

There's a TJ (TJ32033) related to a known issue with the driver info module. See here: https://forums.swedespeed.com/showth...ns-not-working
