How to disable Traction Control Completely?

I was told if i press the traction coltrol button 5 times it turns it off, but does anyone know if this will turn the yellow light off also on the dash ? had the light on now for almost 5 years i know what the problem is but no point fixing it just need the light off.

If the traction control is inactive, then the indicator on the DIM lights up, that's how it works.
Any chance you're selling the car?

Traction control don't work something you have to take the steering wheel off for called scrib or something like that so have a yellow light on the dash it's been there almost 5 years and just want to know if i can turn it off

You'll need to fix the root cause to make the light go out.
Warning lights are a fail so your MOT tester must be a bit dodgy if he has passed a car with a traction warning light permanently on.

Mine failed last year just because the high beam blue light was dodgy.

No a yellow light is not a fail at all you can ask any MOT centre.

Well it's been on for almost 5 years so no point fixing it now, plus just found a way to turn it off so no light on to fail now.
