Reads that way. Any SPA car form MY16 onwards. Just a case of waiting for it to rollout.

This update is only for XC40, see little 'i' after title.

Indeed... strange though: the other links in the update info refer to articles with a broader model range

Had a 55 plate Peugeot 407 diesel with Smartnav fitted, the system back then spoke to all other Smartnav systems in the vicinity and to HQ so they could warn all other users heading in a certain direction of hold ups, accidents, bad weather, road works and speed limits, it was also a Drivers Personal Assistant and would book hotels for you, even send flowers to anyone you wanted and best of all it Bluetoothed to your mobile for hands free connectivity, it was the best system I’ve ever used...

The Blue or Grey poles you see at the side of the road, on overhead bridges or motorway gantries are Smartnav monitoring sites...

Connected Safety is available on all 90 and 60- series new platform Volvos, yes absolutely! But regarding the April updates in the link in a previous posts, I´m sure whatever on the list that is applicable to other cars than the XC40 will get the updates.
