Mr Tickle
I had a problem with my 2.5D 1999 which kept on going into limp mode when accelerating hard or being put under load going up hills.Re-set by turning off ignition and starting. This turned out to be the MAP sensor failing, this did not show up on diagnostics for my car. Might be worth looking at this, its a fairly cheap fix you can do yourself. Hope you sort it. Rob |

In Conclusion:
See my other thread for a more detailed response. In short - My in tank fuel pump had a blockage in the electric motor. It was still pumping but something must have been breaking down inside and restricting the flow of fuel through it also. New in tank pump unit fitted and now running perfectly - no more limp mode or cutting out on tickover. Thanks for you assistance.
