Default Evo Calipers ?

Hi

Is it true that Evo 1 2 3 calipers is a direct fit on my 1997 Volvo S40 T4 ?

And what about a complete set of coilovers from an Evo 1 2 3 ?

Or could anybody tell me wich parts are interchangeable between these cars ?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds good. Its just that i've got my eyes on a pair of front twin port calipers from an evo 2. So i guess they fit then.

But If you know anybody that has a pair collecting dust somewhere, feel free to mail me.

Also need discs and pads. Should i go for SBC grooved and drilled discs, and perhaps some yellow stuff pads ?

I'm 90% sure that the Mitsubishi FTO mivec twin pot calipers fit as well, same caliper but without the evo price tag

Doesn't make a difference, use the FTO calipers with the correct size volvo disc

Well i know that the std t4 discs ar a bit larger in diameter than the evo discs. But only about 6 mm, so the might fit.

As per Fat Tony, I'm using FTO calipers with volvo disc, as I mentioned earlier in another thread, I shaved off part of the brake carrier, just till the disc cleared, maybe about 0.5-1mm. but for those fainthearted , just use any evo 1,2,3 disc with the 4 lugs.

The only difference between the Evo calipers and FTO is the angle of the brake hose, the FTO has a better angle IMHO

cheers
