In all honesty, probably not.
It's early days and I haven't had it long but the minor niggling issues I have had with it which just seem to manifest without any prompting. Maybe an older 850 T5 if I move out of London's dreadful financially motivated ULEZ zone as they have less computer gadgets to go wrong as opposed to the P1 and P2 V70's. Long live cable throttles.

The perception of Volvo cars has changed from one of, reliability, a bit quirky, so uncool they are cool. If that makes sense.
To now being mainstream. Certainly a car to be seen in now. The xc40 now outsells the Ford focus. Volvo prices have gone frankly mental. I know they all have, but new Volvos just seem a bit bonkers to me. So what manufacturer has replaced what Volvo was..? Or is there no one..?

In all probability I would, though I'm very unsure of which model it would be. I like our V70 very much, but it's 15 years old. Also, if I'm honest, it's a bit bigger than we really need except when load-lugging is required - holidays and DIY materials etc. And there's the dog to consider. Extra space for holiday stuff could at least partly be accommodated using a roof box, so a smaller vehicle overall might do the job. But perhaps not as well?
If I was staying with the brand I wonder whether one of the last of the V70s would make sense. Or a V60 which could be newer (but not much smaller?). Anyway, with a year's MOT under it's belt it's not an urgent consideration.

Nice car perhaps, but that'll be about £40k over budget for me!

Two years ago it would have been a definite yes but after ask the issues I've had, I'm now not so sure. I'm just glad I pay for the extended warranty otherwise I'd have been about £4k in repairs over the last year! Not good on a 95k mile 7 year old car
I do like the look of a V60 T6 PHEV but I tend to keep my cars longer and would be concerned over reliability when it gets beyond 5 years old
