S60 Boot Lock Trim
This all started when my boot lock froze the other night. Not the seals but the actual lock. When it thawed out, I noticed that there was a small flap on a hinge with a spring that had broken. Pictures attached. I have tried gluing the broken hinge back on the flap with specialised plastic glue, but it is just not strong enough.
Presumably, there is a reason this part is there, but can I just leave it removed rather than trying to source a new one? It's part number is Volvo 31305446. |
