Default Where to buy Amsoil

I'm thinking of doing a transmission oil change and was considering Amsoil. Can someone tell me where to buy and exactly what Amsoil product to get?

Of course not, although there have always been unscrupulous main dealers (Volvo not alone or indeed highlighted) who will use this ploy as a scare tactic to sell their marked up products.
Its actually illegal for a dealer to say or even suggest the above if the product used meets the spec required; doesn't stop dealers however as even the suggestion that there could be an issue usually has the desired result.

Could be worse, BMW make it hard to find out the spec at all!
