Default that critical part - cupholders

My 2000 V70 has the pop out cupholder, but takeaway cups rattle around in it, which never happened in my 2005 V70.

I was sat there the other day and remembered the later one had rubber 'flaps' at the top of the cup holder which held the cup and allowed for different size cups to stay steady.

My 2000 model is 'sans flaps' - is this standard on the 2000 model - or have they been removed from mine?

Finally - are the cupholders interchangeable - ie will a 2005 model cupholder fit the 2000 V70?

Thanks in advance for any insight !

so upon closer inspection - it looks like the cupholder are different (at least on the face) so I will come up with a home solution!

If you can be bothered to remove the radio, you can introduce a small self tapping screw to stop the cup holder coming out quite so far then it will fit snugly round the cup
