Default Remote Start

I have a 2008 S80 and I live outside Boston, MA. I'd like any info available on having a remote start package put onto my car.
Given that these cars originated in Sweden, it's tough to imagine why they don't offer this as a factory option.

My thanks in advance.

It is available as an option in Switzerland - and I also believe in the UK. However the law in the UK prohibits its use.

I'll try to track one down in Europe and see if it can be imported.

Sincere thanks for the insight.
