leather steering wheel for 740

Does the one you want have an airbag? I did a quick search and the only one I could find had an air bag on it. I've got a non airbag leather rimed wheel on my car but it's the same pattern as a standard early 940.

I have a 960 facelift model leather wheel and airbag module but think the splines are different to 7/940. But is the 760 more like a 960?

I just had a look on my parts disc and although what I have looks similar the part number is different. If it's the sort you need I will put a picture on here so people know what it is you are after.

Hi Steve,

a photo would be very nice. If you have the leather steering wheel wich is similar to the standard plasic wheel its the wheel I´m looking for.

I don´t need an airbag wheel.

Sorry I didn't do this before. It's called a Genua according to the catalogue. I stumbled upon it one day at the local breakers. I was just looking at a couple of cars and someone had removed it. It was lucky as I didn't have any tools on me that day !

How much do leather steering wheels usually go for?
Recently I missed one for my 940 for 100€ on German Ebay, thinking it was too expensive...

The problem with these wheels is that they are often worn out. The leather is on most wheels in a bad condition.
If you get a new one for 100€ thats a bargain then.
