Any 740-940 saloons for sale?

Is anyone considering or know someone who is selling a late volvo 740 saloon or early volvo 940 saloon.

It would need to be an auto, with either the 2.0 or 2.3 petrol but a non-turbo version.

I have an estate and we need to get a saloon for my wife.

I don't mind travelling a reasonable distance by rail to collect - we're in Peterborough.

I'd consider one with a shortish MOT but as it's getting into winter I don't want to take on a lot of work (what's 'a lot' I hear you cry!)

Looking at autotrader I'm seeing £395 as the realistic asking price for 940's aged 91 - 93 with up to a full mot so work down from there as to what you might want for your car.

I've had a look on the current 'for sale' section but it appeared that newer, dearer cars were the only one's listed.

Hi, i am going too collect one on Saturday and then decide weather too keep it and sell my 850 or move it on.
We are in Derby.
It is silver with MOT till Jan.
It is th 2 litre Auto Petrol SE.
157000 miles
3 previous owners.
Quoted as reliable and no rust.

No I have bought it through a friend who lives in Leicester.
