Stereo/DVD: 10 Disc DVD RSE - missing remote control

I've got a 54 plate Volvo XC90 Executive which I bought from the car auctions. I'm really impressed with the car but it was missing it's remote control for the 10 disc DVD system which is mounted under the boot floor. The screens are mounted in the headrests. I've been banging my head against a brick wall trying to get a replacement. I bought a universal one which I couldn't get to work. I then bought another Volvo remote which has a chrome surround. This didn't work and assume this is for the newer cars. I finally rang a company in London who only supply to the car trade. They confirmed which remote I needed which was a Necvox RC1029a. It cost me £37 but you can buy them cheaper on eBay. I'll try and get a photo on this thread. I've tried this remote and it works great.

Thankyou, I have the same problem after my kids decided to misplace the remote and no matter how hard I tried to find one I couldn't remember the make and model of it. Have ordered the above one of ebay so fingers crossed it works!
