Default V50 Abs-antiskid red warning.

Hi Guys,

Got a V50 but now getting Antiskid and ABS also engine service required.

Plugged into Vida

BCM-0030- Wheel Sensor Left Rear Faulty signal
BCM-0040- Wheel Sensor Right Rear Faulty signal
BCM-0114- Communication with body sensor cluster BSC Signal Missing

ECM-0101- MAF sensor faulty signal.

Putting it on the ramp tomorrow going to test wheel sensors first but has anyone come across these codes? Other then the messages car drives spot on.

Many thanks

Look in the passenger footwell.
There is a fusebox/relay board. Take battery off the car.
Unplug all connections.
Remove the board, closely examine all the connections in the plugs and prongs on circuit boards.
Most likely you will see corrosion on some of them.

Clean this off and refit.

Then see what faults occur.

Hi Richard Same faults

BCM-0030- Wheel Sensor Left Rear Faulty signal
BCM-0040- Wheel Sensor Right Rear Faulty signal
BCM-0114- Communication with body sensor cluster BSC Signal Missing

ECM-0101- MAF sensor faulty signal.

doesn't even give you a chance comes back right away. I'm going to try swaping out wheel sensor see if anything changes.
Have you come across these faults? two wheel sensors at the back surely cant be playing up

thanks again

I beleive there is a rarer fault associated with the ABS Module.
I dont know how to diagnose that, but look into it.
