How long ago did this happen?

I've heard after a few days these type of "mini computer crashes" rectify themselves and all is back to normal....?

Off and on since December 2018, but more frequently over the last week.
Fortunately, I am staying near the dealer overnight on the 7th April and now have the car booked in for them to have a look on the 8th.

After my first 2 unsuccessful tries to install the update my sensus also crashed 2 times. I then started sensus new manually (stop car, open door, wait for clock do go away in display, restart car). After that the Update worked without a hitch.

A few updates back I had TunIn also vanish from the system. Went to the dealer and he did a hart reset of the hardware by disconnecting the battery in the bonnet. That seems to be an universal measure for a lot things sensus related. In my XC 90 the battery is easy reachable and a no. 10 wrench should be part of any Volvo set of tools.

I am sorry for jumping in with my issue (Tunein and Wikiloc not available) but name-wise it fits to this thread

My dealer told me to stop by, apparently there is an update that needs to be installed and then I will be able to install both those apps. Fingers crossed. Although it is kind of annoying that one has to ask for updates 3 days after car delivery in order to get something that was supposed to be there since beginning...it took them 1 week to prepare the car for me.

My Spotify has started to ask me to accept the terms and conditions a lot now (3 times in the past week).

Since I uninstalled TuneIn on Monday, I have not been able to find it to reinstall it.
Checked New Apps, Monday, Tuesday and today and there is nothing there, completely blank.
Any ideas, would be most welcome.

Apparently Tunein is no longer offered. That is the message I got from my dealer yesterday, after he confirmed this with Volvo Benelux (it could differ in other markets thought). I thought a new sensus update would help me to get Tunein but then we checked one V90, which they got there and was freshly updated in the morning, and Tunein (neither Wikiloc) was available. Then he called Volvo Benelux and the rest is a history....

It is weird though, because Tunein confirmed to me on Sunday that they do not block any market and it is completely Volvo's responsibility to decide which cars get it or not. And also kind of disappointing (little bit) because Tunein is clearly listed in the price list among available apps, it is listed on the Volvo LUX web and still...

The solution is to stream it from a phone, which is OK given I was planning to use it only occasionally.

Try disconnecting the battery in the boot for 5 min.
