Turn off airbag in x reg v40

Hi all, anyone know how we can turn the airbag off in our passenger seat so we can put our 7 year old in the front seat. Thank you in advance

Some people had some success with a 2.2Ohm resistor. See here: http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/topic...ummy-resistor/

Worse comes to worse and you trigger the SRS light, you can come over and I'll reset it for you

Are you sure it actually has one? My V40 has them everywhere else but the passenger seat for this very reason check the sticker in the drivers side rear door.
