Polestar and Gearbox Oil
I think i know the answer to this one, but just to be certain. Im thinking of the Polestar upgrade on my 2010 D5 auto, if i decide to replace the auto box fluid later and reset the gearbox with Vida, will it affect the Polestar software, i guess not, but as i said dont want to mess things up later.

I've just done exactly this. Changed my ATF and the used VIDA to reset the oil counter and adaptations. The car doesn't seem as lively as it was before but it may just require time to re-learn everything. I phoned the local dealer and they said Polestar was stored in the CEM/ECU and not the ATM module, so it shouldn't affect it.

It seems that on my generation of D5, the polestar optimisation is for the engine only and does not affect the gearbox.
