Default Disc pads replacement

Hi, I am new to the forum and this might be published somewhere and I cannot find it.
As I own a Honda Gold Wing and lives on the Southern Tip of Africa I do my own repairs. Thanks to forums I have managed each and every problem that came up.
My car now needs attention and the disc pads have to be replaced. The oil leak in the Turbo is next.
My problem is that in the Vadis manual the torgue for the Caliper holding bolts is given as 200 NM. The manual I downloaded give it as 100 NM. Which one is the correct specification as I do not want to break the bolts. I have bought new bolts. I only loosened the right side bolts and afterwards established it was not necessary for replacing the pads.
Tx for helping out.

Default torque values

200nm will snap them off pretty certain .I do them up to 100nm and add abit of loctite to the thread to stop them even thinking of working loose which they have tendency to do as they are threaded into cast iron which tends to wear after a few ins and outs .

On my 2010 v70 (P3) it calls for 200Nm. I have torqued the caliper mounting bolts on front axle to that value without issue.

It sounds like you removed the caliper bracket bolts which are torqued to 100Nm but NEW bolts must always be used as they are stretch type. As you discovered you don't need to remove these bolts to change pads but only need remove the caliper slide pins using a torx fitting. Regards.

N.B. it isn't a P3 pierre

Discs and pads or just the pads? Disc being the large shiny plate on which the pads do press. If just the pads, as above only the sliding pins are removed and these carry a much lower torque.
