Sat Nav/Phone: - Help required re info system and air con

Hi i have removed the info system from my xc90 ocean race 2006 to get it sent of for repair ,i have reinstalled the centre console etc reconnected battery the central locking via the key works but does't lock the passanger door and no controls on the passanger door work and key fob not working at all ,air con and sunroof now don't work is this normal is my question and does that system operate all these features as i will be driving it for 4 or 5 days with out the info system and need to know if i will be doing any damage

I understand the info system is not installed. May trigger some alarm malfunctions and may affect the sunroof, central lock, etc. May also get an SRS message once the info is installed back. Not sure how it would be related to the A/C unless it also gets the climate control module (CCM) confused. One thing when disconnecting-connecting the battery is to have the key in ingnition POS II to have the headlights on. If not, sometimes the power surge from the battery can blow the small thermistor behind the little grid on the CCM and render the CCM more or less inoperative.

Hi thanks for your reply now thinking about the air con it has a fibre optic lead attached as has the info display so it could be linked and needs the info system to make the circut.regarding having key in position II and the lights on everything i have read states that the key must be removed from the car ,i wonder if the XC90 Is different to the S60 I don't know i am just a novice when it comes to modern cars give me a 1970s car any time and i could make it run for ever
