Default No Climate & radio?? Comms Issue

Hi All...

So i decided to fit a blutooth phone kit, (simple motorola unit - 15, 30 & ground -with its own speaker)

Removed the radio, ccm & the Sunroof controls - installed the kit using the perm Live from the radio & the fag lighter as the ign switched... disconected the battery whilst all this was going on...

Now i have no audio & the climate unit is dead -
Codes state no comms with IAC or CCM...
The fibre link is all good and i have power to all modules

Any ideas ??? been through everything & have no clue....

Steve

How do you know the fibre link is all good? The symptoms would seem to point to that being the cause of the problem.

Morning Simon..

Thanks,

Indeed - I checked the link between the CCU & Head unit (i have a fibre tester) - & visually as it lights up when you power the head unit but no further as it was late & i had the "ump"...

Going to revisit it today - I'm working with a launch X431 as my VIDA laptop has issues,

The Launch won’t see the CCU & ICM on scan and i get a no comms error on Manual.

Anyone know the route that the Fibre takes? ie what modules & what order?

Oh and now the jag has a misfire......
(Times like this the Luddite in me misses carbs & dizzy's)
