Default 480 electrical faults and overheating.

Hi I'm new to the site and need a little help with my 480 please if anyone knows whats wrong with it.Firstly the motorised lights won't go up and down.I have checked one of the motors on another 480 so I know at least one is working.I have tried another bonnet microswitch from the scrapyard and I have checked the relay and the fuse.I am only getting voltage off one of the pins going to the bonnet microswitch and I believe there is 2 which should have voltage on.1 for the switch off and one for it on.Can anyone be of any help.I would appreciate it alot if anyone could help.

Also I have a rattling noise coming from the engine and overheating.Could these both be linked to the water pump? I have replaced the thermostat and checked radiator and hoses for leaks.Or is the noise more likely to be the tappets and the overheating a seperate issue?

Also my rear wiper motor doesn't work I replaced it and still only moves about an inch.

Thanks in advance,

Matt.

Default engine noise and poor start from cold+juddering+elec faults

Thanks for advising me on the club europe site I will get round to that later on today.

Can anyone else help my engine won't start from cold unless you keep your foot on the accelerator and It shudders/vibrates.Plus there is a rattling noise coming from the engine bay somewhere near the cambelt assembly. The engine also overheats. Can anyone be of any more help before I ask volvo club europe?

Also front fogs and rear wiper don't work, but isn't fuse what else could it be?

Thanks in advance,

Matt.
