Talking 1986 Volvo 360 2.3 Turbo converted - Drift - MOT - £2000

Owes me over £3000, but for sale for £2000

I’ve owned this for a year and had some great fun in it. But it’s just one car too many for me!
I’ve used it on track as a drift car, and on the road as a daily…. It’s a very lively little sleeper that gets a lot of love from the right people, and equally baffles the clueless, especially as it blasts away from them tyres lit!
For drifting it has tons of lock (way more than my old British Drift Championship Sierra!) and a much faster turn of speed than you’d expect from a car equipped with a tartan rug. I’d say this was pretty much the ultimate subtle hooligan’s car. If you’re unsure let me put your mind at ease that it’s entirely possible to drive it sensibly on the road with the welded diff etc; but in reality the demon soon takes over and you’ll soon find yourself having a hilarious time in this bonkers little car!

1986 Volvo 360 with a 2.3 Turbo conversion from a Volvo 740
Running an estimated safe 200 BHP @ 12 psi
11 months MOT, (just been put on SORN)
Solid shell
Recent new Clutch
Recent new crankshaft seal
Hydraulic handbrake with an excellent bite
Welded diff (short ratio)
Recent new diff shaft and diff oil
Switched recent new 16" electric fan
Huge alloy intercooler
Recent new radiator
Recent new thermostat
Boot mounted competition alloy fuel swirl pot: 2 lift pumps and a Cosworth 044 fuel pump
Alloy oil breather tank conversion
Induction kit
Reliable ball & spring type manual boost controller
Chipped ECU
Dump valve blanking plate (and lots of awesome chatter even from idle!)
New anti-vibration turbo manifold bolts
Custom uprated and lowered springs
New rear Land Rover shocks
Front shock inserts refilled with thicker oil
Recent new brake pads
Recent new crank seal
Recent new dished suede OMP style wheel and boss
Straight through exhaust, stainless backbox
Full retro velour interior & tartan rug
13" Minilite alloys and good tyres
Some cosmetic dents and scrapes and bits and pieces of rust around the edges, but nothing too bad and all fits in with the retro sleeper character of the car!
Recently had both rear sill areas welded (before the MOT) in order to keep the shell as fresh as possible.
CD headunit not currently wired up, just needs a standard ISO plug. (I’ll do this if I have time before it sells hopefully).
This and the speedo not working are the only things I can think of at the moment that I would have liked to have sorted.
Scheduled to be featured in Retro Cars Magazine soon....

Drop me a PM for any more info, or to get my number...
Cheers,
Ade
