Post Parking heater doesn't heat

Hello all,

The parking heater on my V70 D5 no longer heats.

The fuel pump is working as I can hear it ticking and can smell fuel when I pop the bonnet; however, it doesn't seem to fire up anymore.

I suspect that it could be its glow plug as I believe its that which ignites the diesel, yes?

My Haynes explains unfortunately doesnt show me where the glow plug is, but apparently i have to remove the fornt bumber and its left slider in order to gain access to it. :-(

Has anyone removed the glow plug insitu before as the two threads I have found in this forum concerning issues with the parking heater have removed the heater completely?

The Intey My-021 OBDII/EOBD+CAN tool disnt catch any codes when the heater was trying to work.
