I'm in a similar situation to the OP (although after R Design Lux), I was hoping to hold out a couple of years and go for the SPA version, but the S40 is way to small now with a toddlers bike and the like.

For me, the VEA EGR issue is a red flag so I'll proabably look towards Selekt cars. The D5 to get round the issue would be nice, however I fancy an auto for the remote start option, but I don't fancy the thirsty 6 speed auto so thats where I'm at, fortunately I'm in no hurry so waiting for the right car isn't a big issue.

I just purchased a D5, 2016 (65 plate) yesterday. Picking it up on Friday. I can't wait. Dealer didn't offer me anything tho

Not even a tank of gas even though the other branch did.

I like the power from the D5, develops a nice growl when you put your foot down. Found my dealer very hard to haggle with too, couldn't get fuel from mine either. Post photos when you get it!
