  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Hi folks, im looking for oil for my 2004 v50 2L diesel, woukd the above be good? I cant see the SLX variety :/

I would recommend checking out Opie Oils, the guys there are very helpful. Personally I favour the Fuuchs/Silkolene brand as there stuff is fantastic.

You may well benefit from a discount code too if you ask nicely. They also supply the filter cartridges.

No, that one looks like its not the Volvo specific one

Actually if you use the manual

5W-30 A1/B1 or 0W-30 A5/B5 is the rating on a 2.0D. I would recommend the 0W-30 A5/B5 route though of which there is only a small proportion produced (plenty of 0W-30 oils but not ACEA rated correctly).

SLX went out a fair while ago, getting replace by the Edge range.
