  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Seems like a good outcome.

Anyway to prevent it from happening again? Does it have rubber on the plastic panel on seat side. I know mine does and no signs of cracking 11 years and 101k but it is leather.

Hi,

Yes, mine has rubber between the electric seat buttons and the side of the seat so not sure what else I can do.

Someone else suggested that if they will replace so easily maybe they know they have a problem and will have improved the materials.

Ha ha, cheers Clan.... couldn't remember who said it.

Will be interesting to compare the drivers side to the passenger side then to see whats different.

Shame they wouldn't replace the back rest cover but you cant have it all I guess!

My 58 is prefect with 110K on the clock. leather face on back bolster 'slightly scuffed' by previous owner but sides and back as new. Did think it was all leather til I cleaned and treated it first time around and discovered it was just 'leather faced'.
