Default intercooler update

Yesterday I got round to changing the intercooler on my v70 d5. Quite a job but thanks to that guy on youtube made it bearable. However on inspection of my old cooler even tho it is dreadfully bowed at the bottom it was not leaking. So after put it all back together again, went for a drive and no power, limp mode and service warning light on. After about 10 miles the light suddenly went out and the power came back and the car went like ****e off a shiny shovel. I put a code reader on in and it came up with turbo solenoid? Came to work this morning and it has behaved itself?? Anybody any thoughts on it please. Do I renew it or clean it. Cheers.

Boost solenoid is a generic code. Sometimes means overboost. Did you make sure that all the intercooler pipes were intact without holes?
Might be the case if you were losing boost but the intercooler wasn't leaking

Will check the pipes. It does whistle quite loudly on acceleration?
