Default V50 turn signal fail?

Hello all, usually I’m on the Amazon forum but my daily car is an ‘11 auto T5 V50. For some reason, the left hand turn Signal has become uncooperative most of the time. Anybody else experience this? As a Volvo veteran, I’m inclined to believe it will “fix itself”, but thought I’d throw this out there!

Thanks
Rob

Had the exact same issue on my car! Turned out that it was the indicator or 'turn signal' stalk itself. Easy to replace, three screws to get the cowling off the steering wheel, then I think just one screw on the stalk, pop it out and replace.

Really easy to change, no programming needed. Junkyard part or new dealer/third party will work fine, Whatever your budget prefers.

^^^ What Paddy94 said. Our V50 did that last year. Replaced the stalk and all good again. If you need instructions send me a PM.

Thanks all! Sounds pretty unanimous... I’ll give that a try. I said that about fixing itself because my previous car, a ‘95 850, had the headlight high beam switch stop holding high beam by itself for a while. Then it “fixed itself”! Very convenient !
