Default Creaking / thumping!!?

Hey guys, weird one for you.

2004 xc90 170k

When the car is cold, getting like a creaking from the suspension at slow speeds.

Also on bumpy roads at slow speeds of the passenger side front I’m getting a noise like someone thumping the bottom of the car with a rubber mallet?

Just been in the garage and it’s passed MOT and he looked long and hard for an issue with the suspension and couldn’t find one?

Any bright ideas? Help would be hugely appreciated !

Could be the exhaust pipe swinging. Check the hangers.

Check the anti-rollbar links & control arm bushings, including the ball joints.

It'll be your subframe bushes, had the same problem on my car and had everything replaced before realising it was these despite volvo dealership saying that it couldn't possibly be.... you could shim them up with poly inserts if you dont fancy having them all done.
