Shopped around a couple of years ago when I needed new drums... sadly all the normal suppliers came out at approx the same price.
Bit the bullet and just ordered a pair from Simon in the end (if I'm going to pay a fortune for parts, I'd rather give the cash to a UK supplier who is known for helping people out and providing a damn good service). Came as quite a shock though: last time I changed drums was on a 2.8 Capri 12 odd years ago. Seem to recall the drums were about £30 a pair! Suppose you have to pay quality prices when you have a quality car... |

If they are the same as the rear ones on a PV (could be) then the drums themselves are not too expensive. I've seen them advertised for about 40 euros each. The problem then arises of replacing the wheel studs and the hub. Also not too difficult with a hydraulic press.
