EVO 1,2,3 rear strut brace and EVO 4,5,6 front strut brace are straight fits for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 S/V40s.

Fuse box will need to be lowered for both genuine Volvo and aftermarket strut braces.

Will the fuse box need to be lowered on all the models or just the 1.9D?

All models. Only difference of the diesel and the other cars, is it's massive engine cover which is on the way of the strut brace.

Nahhh. I threw the cover away. Much easier to access the engine when needed.

Painted my calipers and carriers, as supplied by our resident parts cat, Gatos!

Calipers in red and carriers in black.

New slider pins and service kits ordered for all calipers.

Brake lines are not OK, as the ones supplied only have banjos on one pair.

The other pair are supplied with threaded fittings, both ends. :-(

Waiting for the supplier to reply (nothing since Saturday!)

Some pics...

Also, polished Connor's alloys, that I just bought for his (ahem) Ka.

Really need a refurb, but they are better than they were when I bought them.

And after:

New chrome centre caps ordered yesterday.
