Hi mate,

That's a tricky one.
I have the same unit and it's a hell of a carb.
Have been looking for a repair kit for years and struck luck one day thanks to OldBlueVolvo.

Keep looking on ebay for a repair kit.

A whole unit might be hard to find as most owners preferred other models that are far more reliable than this one.

Cheers,

Vic.

Yeah, I sourced a repair kit from the carb hospital, but it's just the main gaskets, a few o rings, the float bowl needle and accelerator pump diaphragm. That said, the kit and some carb cleaner should get me most of the way.

I'll keep an eye out for breaking 230Ks I guess.

Cheers,

Cap

Hi Cap,

Could you give me the link of the carb hospital, please?

As the one I bought does not have the float bowl needle and accelerator pump diaphragm.

Good luck!

Cheers,

Vic.

www.carburettorspecialists.com or email Eric at chipmork@btconnect.com.

I ordered the Z11 kit, but apparently Volvo fecked about with carbs and it's actually the Z1 kit that is needed even if the ID plate reads Z11 34/34

Good luck.

Cap
