Volvo V50 bi-xenon front headlight

Hello!
I’m new in this forum and looking help with my Volvo V50 1.6 2010. I bought it with broken front left headlight and now i can understand how hard is to find new one with same code on it. The code on mine is 31265709 and my question is that can i also use headlight with another code? I have seen many headlights with codes 31299619 or 31265711, it looks exactly the same like mine, but i dont know does it fit and work? Also can i suit UK headlight to EU? I know that inside of the headlight i can change it, but dont know does it work or is it also allowed to do?

On my V50 a few years ago I had some issues with a headlight and I managed to track one down with the same number, however I did find out that some with different numbers were physically and electrically the same but had different colour trim inserts inside the unit.

Worth a look in Vida as sometimes it gives the various options and sometimes the description which can detail the difference.

Also later I did pick up a V50 light with a different number and transferred its lens onto my unit. The lens was held on with a mastic like substance and metal clips.
What is actually wrong with your unit?
