Default V50 2008 - Passenger door lock

Sadly, like many others before me, my V50 passenger door has decided to stop locking/unlocking.

Window and mirror electrics still work but the door remains locked - after squirting some WD-40 into the lock it did unlock again, however, for security I elected to leave it locked and put up with it for a few months.

I’ve read up on a number of threads here and have concluded it’s one of several things:
- A pillar connector corroded/needs cleaning
- Driver door locking module brown (unlikely as everything else works)
- Pax Door lock actuator (likely this as I can hear the clicking when unlocking/locking)

Now the bit I need help with is this: how do I manually release the lock so I can open the door? Not even sure if I can get the door card off with the door locked shut!

Any tips appreciated!

Have managed to get this far - sprayed electrical contact cleaner in the blue/green/black connectors and still no joy!
