Default No Key Pressent issue

Hi everyone, I have a XC60 2018 T5 petrol and recently my key fob still locks and unlocks the car however whenI get into the car it will not start. Say's key not present. The key is there its in my pocket still doiesnt work even if I take it out of my pocket. I place key in the cup holder and it starts and runs no problem. Have changed the battery in the key fob and it does this with both keys, It going into the garage next week but i want some advice Volvo say the key nees recoding but could it be the central locking module. I know it not a big issue but I want to get this fixed.

Thanks in advance for your help.
