Default can anyone tell me what these hubcaps are?

My 240 has hubcaps that do not seem to match the ones in the parts book, and if someone can at least confirm the model that they are from I would appreciate it.

The cap in question is grey plastic, with black lettering, and has a diameter of 5 and 7/8 inches(approx 15cm)

Thanks

What year is your 240, 'crazy like a fox'? Different wheels / hub caps were fitted over the years, and may also have been changed by a previous owner.

The ones pictured are reminiscent of those that were fitted to my old 1987 740.

Regards, John.

Thanks for the response. Mine is a 92, purchased recently (that may be the crazy part, in case you were wondering) And it certainly looks like the wheels are not original...

A picture of a wheel, with and without cap, should bring out some info.

Well, they're not hubcaps for a start - they are nave plates.
Hubcaps are the caps on the hub that keep the grease in.

Thanks for that. I ahve no dea what a draco is, but I'll try and look it up. Any idea of years, or is that for all 740's?

If you have a look at Pg21 (by doc viewer) of this pdf, you'll find the Draco alloys.

https://accessories.volvocars.com/Le...R_GB_NL_DE.pdf

The centre cap fits a variety of wheels and can be had with black or white logo (think there was another option but not sure) and slightly differing shades of silver to suit the wheels they're fitted to.

The same cap also fits the Omega alloys that i understand were fitted to some 240 models.
