Hi Plongsta
I did send you a PM re: a previous post but you may not have received it. It contains the mobile no. for the mechanic who fixed my hardtop. 07512 962006 he's now working out of a site in Bedmond and he did wind up Ace servicing & repairs.
Regards
Fred

Further to my previous posts, Ace Servicing is indeed no more but the mechanic, Alan is working out of his friends garage in Bedmond. He can be contacted on 07512 962006.
Regards
Fred
Perfect, many thanks Fred. I will give Alan a call today. I tried to reply to your PM but the site won’t let me.

Incidentally, the issue with the roof turns out to be hall sensor 12 or it’s connection. IV Services in Letchworth found the issue but the quote is high to fix. I’ll try Alan first I think

The only way to diagnose these properly is to use VIDA to read the codes and/or see the signals from the various hall sensors.

It's almost certain to be an issue with wiring or a little sensor, the odd person does have a hydraulic ram or line leak but you'd know about that!

Cayman Autos have a great reputation for convertible roof work.
