Default Seat belt light flashing

Hi, the seat belt light on my 340 is permanently on and flashing while the engine is running and all belts are plugged in!

Does anyone know if this is easily fixable or an expensive job?

Many thanks.

If it's the same as my 240, check the seatbelt catch(es), especially front driver's (the only with a detect switch in mine). The internal microswitch can get "pushed down" and then they won't work, you might be lucky and just be able to push it back upwards in the plastic housing. It's a DIY fix, you might need to move the seat forwards and undo the seatbelt catch mounting bolt in the floor to gain decent access. Mine has yet to go wrong again since it was fixed at the time I bought it, nine months ago.

If it's not the same as mine, then I don't know.

Check the wiring from the latch receptacle to the floor. There are a couple of plugs that feed the heated seat and a couple more for the seatbelts. After that it's the fuses.
