V70 Exhaust rear mount

My V70 just failed its MOT due to the rear exhaust mounting. Apparently this is a common failure. I fabricated a part from 1/4" shaped bar welded to a 2 1/4" exhaust bracket.

If anyone is interested I can produce more of these. Fitting only requires the use of a spanner.

I assume that this is for the final bracket (about 12in from the back of the car) which rusts and falls away from the pipe?

If so, how much would you want for one of these brackets?

I did this on my old 855 some time ago.
I'm told the dealers now sell a repair bracket.

Sorry for my late reply, my broadband connection screwed up.

I did mean the rear exhaust section where the 'U' type bracket just rusts away from the rear mount.

Taking into account the parts, welding, paint and postage. I should be able to supply the bracket for £20.
