The P80/ C70 / S70 850 / V70 Wrongness Thread
It seems peak hilarity has passed for this sort of thing; which is a shame.
Barryboys ran short on candidates: http://www.barryboys.co.uk/ Cheap finance means it's ever rarer for those who'd otherwise get up to this sort of thing, to give us a chuckle. Only they're not gone completely extinct, there's a few cars floating about near me that give me a smile, and eBay is the still 'the gift that keeps giving'. Please add yours. I'll kick off. Here's what I've got...

Not seen this lately - about a 12 month back - Barry had it running about near me:
Towel-rail anyone? Dent is a nice touch.

This one's just left eBay.
What with eBay not keeping old listings with pix 'alive' for very long, best add images now: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volvo-v70...p2047675.l2557 Barry says: Quote:

Blue silicon adds POWARHHHH....
Same car. Washer-bottle hose next. See where to add blue silicon.

Baz messes up the gauge fitment... thinks, as you do...
"There, I'll flock it" Baz's mates fall about, they said something similar. Buy anything that says 'Turbo' on the box.

I'd forgotten all about barryboys, there are some top quality sheds on there. Growing up in the Max Power heights with Mk1 & 2 Escorts etc with dustbin exhausts was fun, I think modern cars don't allow the same level of individuality anymore. Which isn't always a bad thing...

He with the 'white cheese-slicer bonnet', it's you isn't it? Ok, Baz has it done, still can't quite imagine how to go about fitting a towel-rail on that? A bog-roll holder, you say? Leave me with it.

Perhaps the dent is good reason for fitting it, otherwise the car might look terrible.
And mine's blue, and staying as a stock V70R. It may yet get silicone hoses but they will be black. My Capri on the other hand, that may end up with a V8 and a Mad Max look about it, when I ever get time on it...

Are you sure that's in the Luton area ???
I could have sworn that was Dickies...Maybe it helps the handling to go with the Map and red calipers.

Luton? It was seen in Luton, can't say if Baz visits or lives. Go into Luton, it's a given. Baz is alive and kicking. Nearly a uniform in itself, most streets sport either a Black, or White (and it's usually White) Khantastic Range Rooney/Beemer/Merc. Body-kit et al. I shan't pretend to be 'up with' these things; only it's so common, you could go away with the idea drug-dealer/kiddy-fiddler 'kool' is something to strive for.
[Wash my mouth out with soap and water.] Credit to Barryboys, this one's good. , Baz has seen Star Wars once too often. The force is strong, the bastard-child of a C70, a gold rattle-can, and Dareth Vader's helmet.
