Default XC90: Without Air Suspension

I have ordered a new D5 XC90 Inscription with 20 inch summer and 19inch winter tyres. I have read various posts regarding Air suspension and I am a bit worried about ride quality.
I don't go off-road or tow any heavy stuff. I drive on well maintained good city roads. Somehow Volvo sales person asked us not to add air suspension as it can have reliability issues. That was one of the main reasons we removed it from our order.
I don't really need a feature to adjust the height of the car. Only thing I am worried about is the ride quality.
Can you please share your XC90 experience without air suspension?

I am OK with my standard suspension and 20" wheels. On most roads it is smooth and quiet enough. On rougher roads it can be a bit lumpy but then I suspect most large 4x4 SUV are the same. I wouldn't really worry if I was you.

I would not worry about it in the least. The air suspension offers an access mode for people which is only really useful if you are not fit or are old and offers no real off road ability, the differentials are the lowest point of the car and don’t rise with air suspension. The approach and exit angles are better but are you really going to use your 50k car like that, I doubt it.
