Mike, got your text but wasn't able to reply at the time.

Not sure about the stock setup as I've only had a boost gauge post-remap.

I reckon the remap runs between 0.1-0.2barg over stock.

Constant load 2.1-2.2 bar , peak 2.3-2.5 bar (absolute pressure)

30psi => 2bar

I assume that an instantaneous boost "spike" rather than a steady reading? Mine would hit the 2bar limit of the boost gauge but soon fall back to 14-1.6bar depending on how hard I kept the boot planted.

Never taken the map off since it went on and wouldn't want to tbh.

Default Map sensor

I’ve got a S40 2.0d SE Sport 2007..I’ve done quite a few mods ie..hybrid turbo,massive intercooler,stainless exhaust and K&N air filter...just had it mapped on the rolling road and it’s topping out at 191BHP because the stock map sensor can’t cope with the boost the hybrid is generating..does anyone know of a map sensor I can fit from a different model that has a higher boost threshold?...any advice would be much appreciated..😀. Just to add,the stock map sensor is only allowing around 1.8bar..we need more..lol..

Hi I don't know what fitting your sensor has, can you post a photo,
but you can get a bosch 4 bar sensor for a very good price, but do get a bosch don't get a copy,
if it does not fit in to your car you can get a weld in boss or a pipe with a boss fitted from dark side developments ,
you will have to re-program the ecu for the new sensor,
Dave

Hi ok do what I did , I got a pipe from them with a boss for a bosch sensor, and cut a pipe after the intercooler and fitted the darkside adaptor pipe with the boss, also you will need to make a adapter cable for the new sensor,
like I say you will need the tuner to re program the ecu for the new settings for the new sensor,, you can also get a bosch sensor from darkside,https://www.darksidedevelopments.co....-clamps-parts/

4 bar map sensor, https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
