i have ordered new bolts as i guess i still have old ones. but now on is even worse. it make that pop when i change from parking to reverse or drive. gearbox works smooth no any noises and goes through gears smoothly, also theer exists a barely noticeable chasis vibrations just up to 20mph ...above its absolutely free of that symptoms. may it be that axle ping or something with gearbox? any suggestions would be helpfull as i visited few garages and they look at me like idiot as they cant see anything wrong

I'm confused, what is actually happening to make the axle ping sound?

The splines on the end of the driveshaft have a loose fit in the wheel hub so there is some twist play , It is nothing serious , and can usually be cured by fitting new bolts and angle torquing them correctly . In a bad case i would withdraw the driveshaft backwards a bit and put some Loctite adhesive between the face of the driveshaft which is pulled up against the inner face of the wheel bearing in the hub .
Some people put Loctite on the splines , However if all the splines are covered it can be very difficult to remove the driveshaft if some maintenance is required , I would not put Loctite on more than the outer one inch of shaft splines as a last resort .

Mmmm, so the ends of the driveshaft splines are tapered in slightly? would make sense for ease of installation/guide through the hub but if the bolt was loose the noise is what? the bolt moving slightly? it can't be a spline slipping surely?

No , the splines are parallel , but slight play develops , nothing to worry about at all . The noise is the face of the driveshaft scraping past the face of the rear of the wheel bearing , it just needs clamping up more .

.

Undo the drive shaft bolt from the center of the wheel hub (no need to remove the wheel) put some strong Locktite inside on splines then torque the bolt up correctly (can't remember spec off the top of my head).

I would avoid STRONG loctite like the plague , simply because when driveshaft work is needed you will never release the joint from the hub

50 ton press & oxy-acetylene almost failed

sorted out! thanks guys!! that was old axle bolts!!! thats odd as i did replaced that driveshaft in local volvo independent specialist and look what they have done! they used different bolt and way shorter than original!!! they charged me just for labour 100£ to replace it and look what they did! all ofthe noises from underneath and gearbox when change from park to drive gone even chasis shake gone as probably driveshaft wasnt tight enough and made rhat noises and caused vibrations !!!!

I can see what they did , they tried to tighten a stretch bolt and it rounded the head off and stripped the thread so they cut the damaged thread off , Butchers not technicians , you get what you pay for of course ..

This seems to be the week of me asking daft questions but here goes:

I can see they've cut the end of the bolt down and also the hex head looks rounded, how has over-tightening damaged the 'end' of the threads though?

Please note I don't know the theory behind how stretch bolts actually work, I know about head bolts being a 'once only' fit.
