Default S60 Front and Rear Suspension Knocking

My S60T has a knocking noise coming from both the front and rear suspension over rough roads, with the front worse. What’s odd is that I had my MOT last month, and it failed on the front droplinks which are now fixed but still has the knocking noise.

The MOT gave it a clean bill of health with no other advisories. What else could it be? Would suspension top mounts cause the knocking and not show on the MOT?

I’ve been away a lot with work recently so haven’t been able to give it a proper look, but is there an easy way to try and narrow done the issue?

Thanks

I had a similar knock from the front and it was top shock mount, MOT didn't pick it up. easy to check, try and turn the top nut with the car sat normally. If it turns, it's likely past it.

I have encountered both scenarios above. Drive your car up onto a curb and get a buddy to shake car back and forth while holding each end of each drop link to be sure they are still tight.
