All parts available online from eg Brookhouse.
The inner sills are just a folded section and pretty easy to make, especially if you only need part of one. The steel is thicker than typical body panels. I've fitted many but as I recall the dimensions of the inner sill are slightly incorrect being too wide on the flat horizontal surface at the top. I presume that this was because they were originally made to go on top of the remains of an old inner sill. Outer sills are best bought in as they've got curves.... Be wary of cars requiring extensive sill work unless they're cheap.

sills
Hi,
If you are going to view a car, there are large plastic blanking plugs fitted to the inner sills inside the car. Ease the rubber mats back and remove the plugs. With a small mirror and torch you will get an indication as to the condition of the inner membrane. If the owner has no doubt about the structure of the car he should be willing to assist with this. |
