67 and drive a 2009 V70 Auto - Black I'm sure I get beeped just for being older and in a Volvo and nothing to do with my driving!

I get beeped to because they think I'm really asleep. But I'm all there in the outside lane making good progress as taught by IAM 20 years ago.

Always up to the speed limit when safe, but not getting in the way of those
German cars doing a LOT more.
300 miles to day, doing my volunteers duties for NHS. love driving my 240 GL estate I bought in 1989 now at 670 000 miles.

Over the years

745 GLE (my first Volvo, bought brand new 1988)
945
850 (hated it, 2.0 and underpowered)
960 (best car I've ever had, but thirsty)
Then a few years of Vauxhall Omegas
Now '06 XC70 D5

The Mrs has a '97 940

Oh . . . . .age - mid 60s

51 years of age and have had a variety of V70s over the years.....
Currently have a 57 plate D5 V70 auto.....it's a great place to be and IMHO is one of the best estate cars you can buy.......
I also have an Audi A4 Avant 07 plate 1.9tdi which is pretty bulletproof with only 113k on the clock.
Treated myself to a 16 plate Mercedes C Class 220d AMG line......
