Default will p2 V70 wheel temporarily fit XC60?

As per title
Just spotted a fellow driver who knackered his wheel, stuck for few hours.
I happen to have spare alloy with rubber on, and I wonder am I actually capable of helping him.

Maybe. But if something went wrong then he might find that his insurance wouldn't cover it because it might count as an unauthorised modification. You have to assume that insurers are heartless and will use any excuse to wheedle out of any liability.

If the wheel and tyre you have was available as an option for the other car you might be on firmer ground.

Hate to put the dampeners on your good intention, but if it is only a matter of a few hours it's probably best not to risk it.

Cheers

Jack
