Default Request techinque (how to) fit a Wired connector to XC70 Tai

Replacing electric tow socket having damaged original.

The job is and was 'easy-peasy' but for adding a single wired fuse pin connector to fuse box.

My dealer fitted the original tow bar to our new car (although they forgot to torque up main tow-bar nuts all of 'em - with almost dire consequences, while towing in Portugal) Another story. I now use an ISO9001 Approved dealer!

Car model in XC70 2009, uses FordMOCo moulded fuse box in tailgate left hand panel side.

One alternative might be to cut wire and feed it in from rear of fuse side and remake the connection... but the dealer didn't do that unless they there was an empty connector already in place. If so this is not re useable... I Wonder if there's a technique or tool? Any suggestions please?
